Albany County opened its second obstetrics-gynecology clinic Wednesday to serve city residents and those of neighboring Green Island and Watervliet.
"The best prevention is getting people off to a good start in life," county Health Commissioner William A. Grattan told about 30 people, including most of the county's Democratic candidates, gathered at the county Health Department clinic at 169 Mohawk St.
"The earlier people get into prenatal care, the better the results," he said.
