Waiting for someone to pick-up on a telephone call can be an exasperating experience. But, it dosen't have to be annoying.
Telemax Marketing Systems, a new Colonie firm, is doing something about it. The firm is offering the person on the other end of the line something to listen to beside canned music or stone silence while waiting for telephone call to be answered.
Telemax offers customers a system that when caller is placed on hold, the caller is afforded an "oral visit to a person's place of business," said Paul Barry, a partner in the 6-month-old communications business.
